Following the Open Meeting on 14th September 2024 where the matter was discussed at greater length, the installation and monitoring of wildlife or trail cameras by plot holders on Millfield Allotments is being encouraged by the Committee.
There are already a number of wildlife cameras present on site, however we are keen to document the abundance of wildlife visiting us, and calling our allotments home.
This announcement acts as notification to all plot holders and members of the public visiting our allotment site that your image may be captured on wildlife cameras installed at the site. The images captured are for the recording of wildlife, however may be used in the prevention and detection of crime if deemed necessary by the Committee. All images captured will be processed in accordance with GDPR.
