Plot Applications - Looking to take on a plot?
Millfield Allotments are managed by the Millfield Allotments Association in conjunction with Faversham Town Council.
Millfield Allotments Association is pleased to offer a range of plots for rent, including full 10 rod plots, half plots at 5 rods, and a number of raised beds.
Allotment gardening is a commitment and applicants must be prepared to maintain the allotment in accordance with the Tenancy Agreement set out by the Millfield Allotments Association and Faversham Town Council. We recommend plot holders spend around 6 to 8 hours per week tending to their plot during the period between Spring and Autumn.
On the establishment of a new tenancy, the tenant shall ensure that at least one-third of the newly-tenanted plot shall be established in good condition within one calendar month from the date of the tenancy agreement, weather permitting. Should the tenant be in receipt of a plot requiring substantial work, the schedule of work shall be agreed between the tenant and the committee and that agreement reported to the next meeting of the Association.

Applications are made directly to Faversham Town Council, who manage the waiting list and will make contact with applicants once they have reached the top and a plot has become available.

All potential applicants should ensure they are willing to abide by the Tenancy Agreement and uphold the plot holder responsibilities prior to making an application.
